Feb. 12 @Creative Mornings Geneva #CMethics Participatory PhotoboothThe global #CreativeMornings theme for February is ETHICS, chosen by Creative Mornings Madrid and illustrated by CEES.
Find a #CMethics event near you (chapters continue updating their events throughout the month!): https://creativemornings.com/themes/ethics
Creative Mornings Geneva’s inspiring breakfast-talk and #CMethics event with the multi talented artist, Kylie Walters, at Théâtre du Grütli takes place on 12 February, 2016.
Join us for breakfast, Kylie Walters' talk on Ethics and cultural appropriation: from Spinoza to Miley Cyrus and my participatory photo booth on #mycultureis
"Beg, borrow or steal. How do we navigate ethical questions linked to cultural appropriation in an increasingly interconnected world? Are creative professions essentially magpie professions - does it matter?
This talk explores the ethical grey areas surrounding creative influences through the lens of a choreographer and performer.
“Hot-head of dance”, multi talented artist, “astonishing in her way of dialoguing with extremes on stage”, Kylie Walters, “the arrow”, has performed internationally as a dancer and actress for respected choreographers and directors and with her own creations."

"Tap into Your Inner Artist and join CMGeneva's Participatory Photo Booth!
To celebrate the theme of the month #CMEthics, our A-MA-ZING photographer, Undine Groeger, will host a participatory Photo Booth that aims to move beyond cultural stereotypes by giving you the creative space and opportunity to interpret and represent your 'culture' in your own way through photography.
We invite you to tap into your inner artist and to consider bringing along, for example, an item, word(s), or perhaps just a fluffy idea to co-create meaningful and unique photo souvenirs of February's CreativeMornings talk on Ethics and Cultural Appropriation!" Comments
